Transforming Minerals into Schools and Hospitals

To ensure the long-term sustainability of our mission, the A4J Foundation has developed an innovative self-financing model based on the ethical and responsible purchase of gold and diamonds from artisanal mining areas in the Central African Republic.

Our approach is neither speculative nor extractive: it serves as a bridge between the country’s natural wealth and its human development.

We purchase minerals at fair prices, above the local market rate, directly from registered mining cooperatives and in accordance with strict traceability criteria aligned with the standards of the United Nations’ Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) and the principles of the Kimberley Process for diamonds.

The profits generated from the international commercialization of these resources finance up to 60% of our social projects, thereby reducing our dependence on external donations and accelerating the construction of community hospitals and technology schools.

In the Central African Republic, health and technology are a luxury: a generation of the future is waiting for its opportunity
